In the academic year 1975-76 director of an interdisciplinary research year mathematics - physics at the Center for interdisciplinary Research (ZiF) of Bielefeld University under the title "Mathematical Problems of Quantum Field Theory", after approx. two years of preparation. The project dispensed DM 1 000 000 for visiting scientists, of which there participated 64 from 14 countries. It produced 100 scientific publications.
Another ZiF research year was prepared, and conducted in 1983-84, under the title "Project No.2 - Mathematics and Physics" with the participation of 100 guest scientists from 20 countries and an output of 130 scientific publications.
In the mid-eighties annual organization of small nuclear physics research groups that worked in Bielefeld over the summer.
