Current main scientific area

Basically the current research work is to introduce an extreme value model to discriminant analysis. primarily interested in modeling the upper tail of each model, which can be done by using appropriate exceedance models, and later explore properties and the relationship of discriminant functions in both models. Some specific key words are truncated Gaussian density, Hüsler-Reiss extreme value and generalized Pareto distributions.

Other scientific activities

An additional to the present research interests, candidate also affiliated in an algorithm
evolution and implementation for the tmvtnorm: Truncated Multivariate Normal and Student-t Distribution, R online package (http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/tmvtnorm/index.html).

Participations in R&D projects

A year of experience in DRDO (Defence Research Development Organisation), India for developing an algorithm for MIG 27 Avionic.
